Today Is Our Big Day!!!!!!!

October 21,2006

Good Morning Neighbor:

Today I wake with great expectancy,  I know today I am going to see a miracle.   I awoke thinking about the great miracle of the "Fishes and Loaves" recorded in the Bible and I realized today is going to be another reinactment of that very miracle.  For you see, our Task Force literally has no money, however, we are about to deliver an event to our community that would in human terms cost thousands of dollars.  And, even greater than that we are about to close a Plant that is a part of a giant corporation that has been operating in our community for years.  Can mountains be moved - yes they can!!!!!!!!!!

You are already a part of this great miracle and I am truly honored to have the opportunity to meet you in person today!!!

With Greatest Blessings - Your Neighbor,

Connie

Raise Your Hands

October 18,2006

Hi Neighbors:

The task force continues to be very successful in lining up legislators and councils to speak to us at the rally.  We now have Scout Troop 174 of Tyrone helping us with games for the kids, snow cones and cotton candy.  I heard the band Terra Free last evening who will be playing at the rally - they especially rock on our theme song "Smell that Smell" by Lynyrd Skynyrd.  I would so very much like to know who all in my email neighborhood will be attending the rally- so I thought it would be neat to get an email show of hands.  I really cannot wait to meet you all personally - you have been such an inspiration with your kind words and prayers of support.

Let me see those R.S.V.P emails,

Connie

Fairburn City Council Meeting

Hi all:

I want to tell you how wonderful it was to attend Fairburn's City Council Meeting this past Monday. The City Council presented the Task Force with a Formal Resolution for the closure of PSC and they even went a step further to say that they will commit technical resources to assist the citizens in dealing with this problem.

I formally invited them to attend the Rally on the 21st to publicly present their resolution and speak on our behalf.

If you live in the Fairburn City Limits, please let the City Council know of your gratitude in this matter - their fax number is 770-969-3484.

Have an awesome day,
Connie

Westmoreland & McGraw Debate

Good Morning Neighbor:

Well, I had a late night last night but an interesting one for sure!!! I am still stunned this morning as to what took place last night between Westmoreland and McGraw.

A question came up about integrity and care for the citizens. Westmoreland went into how he lives in Newnan and cares greatly for people - McGraw shot back in response that he could not understand why he had not done anything to help over 750 citizens who have been harmed by toxins in the air from a local corporation - Westmoreland shot back "you have been reading the Fayette Citizen too much" then not a word was uttered from Westmoreland about our situation - not one response with regard to the care of his people!!!

To me - it is all too scary to see someone in power who is so detached!! Our plight is not Democrat or Republican - our plight is called Illness and possible Early Death!!!

Let us make this known at our upcoming Rally - Our Voices Will Be Heard!!!!!!
